ART AND SOUND
Art & Sound has been together for years. Compound is embarking on a new journey in Red Hook Brooklyn to showcase both. The Compound is reopening their gallery with an upgrade of a Hifi stereo equipment in the venue. The programming will be of high quality on two fronts. On the art side we will do shows with emerging artists from New York to abroad that work in mediums of paintings, sculptures and beyond. On the music side we will be building 3 music experiences.
LISTENING ROOM 1.
The first will be a listening room where you get to hear classic records on vintage Hi fi Mcintosh Stereo equipment. This room will be for private intimate experiences.
RECORD BAR 2.
The second area will be the Compound Record bar. This area will be a full-service bar with a state-of-the-art Japanese Hi Fi Leban audio products system. This will be an amazing social space to look at art and have drinks with a superb sound quality.
HOUSE SYSTEM 3.
The third installation will be the house system that will provide the sound for the gallery. That will play as the system for live shows, panel talks and speaking engagements.
